A taught master normally has a duration of 1 year to 1 year and half and depending on the number of credits achieved students will be awarded with a Postgraduate Certificate (30 ETCS), Postgraduate Diploma (60 ETCS) or Taught Master Degree (90 ETCS).

Undergraduate

Requirements can vary regarding the school and the course chosen, however there are some requirements that every student must fill when applying:

  • High School Certificate
  • Letter of motivation
  • English test

It is important to understand that each course has its requirements regarding the entry subjects and each school will inform the minimum expected grade on specific subjects. Besides that students must be sure to have achieve on their secondary diploma:

Level 6/7 – 5 grade O6/H7 including English or Irish and Mathematics.

Level 8 – minimum of 4 grade O6 and 2 Grade H5. This must include English or Irish and Mathematics.

Masters

In order to apply for a master, you will need to have:

  1. Bachelor certificate (equivalent to level 8)
