Postgraduate

What is it

Postgraduate courses include postgraduate diplomas, master’s degrees, and doctorates (PhDs). Usually this is the step after your undergraduate course since you will need one to progress to this. A postgraduate diploma is a shorter qualification but at the same academic level as a master’s degree. The difference is that the first is made up of 120 credits and the latter 180 credits. This can take 1 or 2 years if you study fulltime, more if you are studying part-time.

So, if you want to specialize in a subject this is the way to go, because you will develop and further your already awesome skills and you will gain a deeper understanding of your study area.

Once you are finished you can apply for jobs or if you want to conduct a deeper research on your chosen subject you can pursue a PhD, you will be awarded a doctoral degree. To do that you need to develop
extensive and advanced work that will make knowledge contribution to your field of study.
