England
We bet that this was your number one country too, are we right? England is a really good option if you want to take a language summer course. You’ll have several courses that you can choose, from everyday English to specific vocabulary. Not only do you get the chance to acquire that really iconic British accent, you’ll also feel the country’s lifestyle once you live there.
In our opinion, you should try to take the course outside of London. Live the full British experience without the tourists, which you can’t avoid in the capital. Also, if you choose a city like Bristol, for example, you’ll still be near London but the adventure will be much more affordable.
Malta
Malta is one of our favorite countries when it comes to choosing where you want to take your English summer course. The country was once a British colony, and the British culture and language have rubbed off strongly on the Maltese population, making practically everyone bilingual with the majority being proficient in English. Which is great for practice!

USA
The United States of America is an awesome country for you to take your language summer course. It has lots of options when it comes to the type of courses and, obviously, has a long list of cities in which you can (and should) take your course.
You never run out of things to do in the USA. If possible, you should have your classes only in a few hours of the day or on specific weekdays so you can enjoy the events around the country and travel to other cities.

Canada
Another country in North America: Canada. We can’t remember someone who visited Canada who didn’t like it! It’s also a really good country to live in: great cities, good weather, low crime rates and peaceful politics.
It’s not usually the first option when you think of countries to take a summer course but it’s a valid one, for sure! If you want a really different adventure, this is the country for you. In Canada you can take your language course while you visit the different cities and at the same time explore the different cultures that the country has to offer you. Australia
Australia isn’t only an amazing country for you to visit but also a great choice for you to take a language course. Because they are also English native speakers, it’s a great way for you to practise your English while you explore a completely different country.
Although it’s actually winter in Australia, the weather is suitable for outdoor activities, it’s not usually too cold. It’s a little bit pricier than other countries on this list, so that is one of the reasons that it’s only in fifth place.
The country is also the best choice to study abroad if you enjoy exploring and discovering new places. More than 80% of Australia’s plants, mammals, reptiles and frogs are unique and can’t be found anywhere else in the world.
